The National Obesity Forum was successfully completed yesterday at the Embassy of Denmark (New Delhi) with strong participation from key policymakers, healthcare leaders, and domain experts, with representatives from Govt of India, ICMR, WHO, Danish Embassy, medical fraternity (Obesity physicians and nutritionists). The discussions marked an important step in translating evidence‑based recommendations (India Obesity Disease Burden Whitepaper) into actionable pathways for advancing obesity care and policy in India.
