Operated Ruptured ectopic with moderate haemoperitoneum
Lets see what precautions we should take to prevent the complications of ectopic. Early diagnosis & Early management. Implantation of fertilized o**m in fallopian tube
⚠️ Causes / Risk
Conditions causing delayed tubal transport:
Previous ectopic, PID, tubal surgery, infertility/ART (IVF), IUCD (failure), smoking, endometriosis, congenital tubal defects.
⚠️ Symptoms

🟡 Early (Unruptured):
Mild–moderate pain, irregular bleeding, nausea/breast tenderness, adnexal & cervical motion tenderness
🚨 Ruptured (Emergency):
Severe abdominal pain, shoulder tip pain, dizziness/syncope, shock (tachycardia, hypotension, pallor, cold clammy skin)
⚠️ Complications
Tubal rupture → hemoperitoneum → shock → death
Infertility, recurrent ectopic pregnancy
⚠️ Management
🟢 Medical (Methotrexate):
Stable, unruptured, small ectopic, low β-hCG, no contraindications
🔵 Surgical (Indications: rupture/unstable/failed MTX):
Salpingectomy (remove tube)
Salpingostomy (preserve tube
