🌺 Ganesh Puja in the 80s wasn’t just a festival—it was a feeling! ❤️
The excitement started almost a month before—collecting contributions, choosing the Puja Secretary, forming decoration teams, distributing invitations, and planning everything together. Then came those unforgettable nights of decorating the school with friends—little sleep, endless laughter and memories for a lifetime. 😊
And Puja day had its own magic: Chuda Ghasa, Bundi, desi bananas, coconut and local fruits, followed by the much-awaited school bhoji with Khiri, Kanika, Dalma and Khata. Simple food, shared with friends, somehow tasted better than anything else. 🌿
There were no smartphones or social media, yet there was so much friendship, teamwork, sharing and togetherness.
Times have changed, but perhaps some things are worth carrying forward—simple food, local produce and the joy of sharing. 💚
🙏 Ganpati Bappa Morya!
