Broad objectives
The purpose of the association/club shall be,
• To bring together the pharmacy students to a single platform for a better understanding of the health care system.
• To foster a close relationship among the pharmacy students, the resource persons and the public, to encourage the empowerment of pharmacy profession and health care system.
• To update the members of the associatio
n on recent trends of health care sector and to improve their communication skills in a collaborative and supportive manner.
• To invite professionals from local or from any outside institutes/industries to the association/club to provide insightful informations on health care.
• To promote, propagate and encourage health education.
• To educate people of the particular endemic zone about the disease.
• To create awareness on the available treatments for different diseases.
• To educate people for using generic drugs for the treatment.
• To educate people to understand their medications and to use the dosage forms in an effective way.
• To educate people to stop illicit use of different medicaments.
• To open drug information centers at various places to spread awareness about health care. Strategies
• Provide members the opportunity to develop skills and presentation of ideas and in the practice of parliamentary procedure.
• Conduct programs that contribute to the knowledge and stimulate the thought and vision of members by means of speakers, demonstrations, study tours, visual aids, and opportunities to meet with leaders in the profession.
• Develop association/club activities that challenge the potential talents of members and encourage individual initiative and management.
