First reported use in South India—VMAT-based Total Lymphoid Irradiation (TLI) delivered as part of the conditioning regimen for a thalassemia patient undergoing allogeneic BMT, marking the 50th Pediatric Transplant milestone at MGM Cancer Institute .

Growing evidence supports the role of TLI in improving transplant outcomes in selected patients, and this milestone reflects our effort to bring advanced, precision-based care into clinical practice.

It has been 8 years since you left this world, Amma… Not a day goes by without missing you.

I still wish sometimes that this was all just a nightmare, so I could wake up and have you with me again.

For the world, a mother is special…
but for me, my Amma is the best—
the purest, most selfless love I have ever known.

You gave me everything without expecting anything in return…and that kind of love is irreplaceable.

I only wish my sons had the chance to spend time with you… to feel your love and to learn from you.

Today, your dreams continue to live on. Through the Ramathilagam Memorial Trust, we are supporting students and offering free consultations every Thursday at our clinic— just the way you always believed in serving others.

We are happy to see that we are growing in every aspect—not just in your vision, but in our personal lives too. Yet, even in this happiness, we deeply miss you.
Our annual cancer screening camp is delayed this year due to the election, but we will continue the work with even more strength and purpose.

Honored and truly grateful to be one of 66 outstanding women achievers recognized at the Coral Awards by Rotary International District 3233—presented by District Governor Rtn. D. Devendran at The Malayalee Club on March 20, 2026.

Heartfelt thanks to Rotary Club of Chennai Coral President Rtn. Ram Subramani and Secretary Dr. Greeshma for this beautiful recognition.

It was lovely meeting fellow women achievers from various fields, making new friends, and connecting with such inspiring individuals. Also a pleasure meeting IRS officer V. Nandhakumar—truly a special evening.
