One I’ve only ever written about in my dream journal, my vision board, and my prayers to god because truth be told, I still can’t believe this is real.
When I quit my career as a physician to pursue a life as a writer, everyone thought I was crazy. It was a big risk to pursue a a new career in a new country. They didn’t think it was possible to have a big life and be well at the same time. Honestly? Sometimes I didn’t either.
It didn’t seem possible for a long time that I could live an honestly radical life and use words to change the lives of women and q***r people. Until now.
High Maintenance comes out in April 2027. It is my debut, and love letter to 25 year old me, the crazy girl who actually did it. It’s the book I wish someone had handed me back then…. A book that gives women and q***r people the permission to be healthy, to be big, to be radical, and to build a life that’s actually theirs.
