Myths about lemon water

1. There is no evidence that lemon water has more benefits for weight loss than plain water.

2. Researches state, the foods a person eats does not affect the acidity of their blood or body cells and hence lemon water could not help preventing cancer.

3. Lemon water can not help in eliminating waste from the body through urine and healthy bowel movements and there is no proof that lemon water is better than plain water for this.

4. Lemon loses its properties after 60 degree celsius, so mix the lemon only with lukewarm water.
