Not every pain needs an MRI before starting physiotherapy. 🩺Rehab first. Imaging only when truly needed. An MRI can show “changes” even in people with no pain at all.
A detailed assessment, movement analysis, and clinical expertise can often tell us more than a scan alone.

Breathing exercises🫁 are one of the most effective and gentle ways to reduce low back pain because they help relax tight muscles, improve posture, and activate the deep core muscles that support the spine. Deep diaphragmatic breathing increases oxygen💨 flow, reduces stress💆, and lowers muscle tension in the lower back area. It also improves body awareness and encourages proper movement patterns🦿, which can prevent further strain or stiffness. Regular breathing exercises can ease pain naturally, improve flexibility🤸, and support faster recovery ✅without putting extra pressure on the back

DO YOU KNOW THAT SITTING CAN WORSEN SCIATICA
Direct Nerve Compression
When you sit, the sciatic nerve (which runs from your lower back through your buttocks and down each leg) is placed under increased pressure. The nerve passes close to or through the piriformis muscle in the buttock, and sitting compresses this entire area directly.
Increased Spinal Disc Pressure
Sitting increases intradiscal pressure in the lumbar spine by up to 40% compared to standing. This extra pressure can worsen herniated or bulging discs, which are a primary cause of sciatic nerve irritation.
Piriformis Tightening
Prolonged sitting causes the piriformis muscle to shorten and tighten. Since the sciatic nerve runs beneath (or sometimes through) this muscle, a tight piriformis can pinch the nerve — a condition known as Piriformis Syndrome.
Poor Posture Compounding
Most people sit with a rounded lower back (posterior pelvic tilt), which flattens the lumbar curve and shifts stress directly onto the discs and nerve roots at L4–S1, where the sciatic nerve originates.
Reduced Blood Flow
Staying still reduces circulation to the sciatic nerve and surrounding tissues. Nerves need consistent oxygen and nutrient delivery — poor circulation causes increased sensitivity and pain signaling buldge
