On 14th June 2026, Saveetha College of Occupational Therapy (SIMATS) successfully conducted the 2nd Occupational Therapy STAR Summit 2026 at the SIMATS campus, Chennai. The event featured 100+ research poster presentations by undergraduate and postgraduate students, showcasing innovative research and clinical insights.

The summit was attended by 30 distinguished guests and evaluators from various universities. Dr. Punitha P and Dr. Vikraman G were honored with the Best Outstanding Researcher Award for their exemplary research contributions. The Outstanding Student Researcher Award was presented to Parthiban P in the postgraduate category and Angelin Benitta in the undergraduate category. Students were also recognized and awarded for their Best Research Poster Presentations.

The event highlighted SCOT’s continued commitment to promoting research excellence and academic innovation in occupational therapy. ✨🏆
