💚 ONE CONVERSATION CAN SAVE MANY LIVES
Our Organ Donation Awareness Campaign continued yesterday at SSN College of Engineering, where I had the opportunity to interact with a wonderful group of students and start a conversation about the gift of life.
We spoke about something that is often misunderstood — organ donation after death.
🧠 What is the difference between coma and brain death?
🫀 How can one donor potentially help multiple people?
❌ What are some of the common myths surrounding deceased organ donation?
👨👩👧👦 And perhaps most importantly — does your family know what you would want?
The students brought in some great questions and perspectives, making the session much more of a conversation than a lecture.
And that’s exactly what we hope this campaign will achieve.
Organ donation doesn’t begin in an ICU.
It begins with awareness, understanding and a conversation at home.
So here’s the one question I’d like everyone to take home:
“What do you think about organ donation?”
Talk to your family.
Share your wishes.
Don’t make them guess.
💚 One conversation can save many lives.
