Why Women Should Lift Heavy 💪

For years, women have been told to avoid heavy weights because they might become “too bulky.” The truth is, lifting heavy is one of the most powerful things a woman can do for her health, confidence, and long-term independence.

Women naturally have much lower testosterone levels than men, which means building large amounts of muscle is extremely difficult. Instead of becoming bulky, strength training helps women become stronger, leaner, and more resilient.

As women age, especially after the age of 30, muscle mass gradually starts to decline. During menopause, estrogen levels drop significantly, accelerating muscle loss, reducing bone density, slowing metabolism, and increasing the risk of falls, fractures, and weight gain.

This is where strength training becomes essential.

✅ Builds and preserves muscle mass

✅ Improves bone density and reduces osteoporosis risk

✅ Increases metabolism and supports fat loss

✅ Improves posture and movement quality

✅ Reduces joint pain and improves daily function

✅ Enhances insulin sensitivity and metabolic health

✅ Boosts confidence and mental well-being

Most importantly, strength training prepares women for real life.

It helps you carry groceries without pain.
It helps you lift your child or grandchild with confidence.
It helps you climb stairs without getting breathless.
It helps you get up from the floor independently.
It helps you remain active, capable, and strong as you age.

The goal isn’t just to look good.

The goal is to maintain your freedom, independence, and quality of life for decades to come.

Train not just for the next summer.
Train for your next 30 years.

Strong women don’t just live longer.
They live better.

🔍 ANTERIOR PELVIC TILT (APT)

One of the most common reasons we see excessive anterior pelvic tilt today is prolonged sitting. Spending hours at a desk, in a car, or on the couch can reduce hip mobility, decrease glute activity, and affect how the muscles around the pelvis work together.

Over time, some muscles may become overactive and stiff, while others become underactive and weak. This can lead to increased stress on the lower back, discomfort during daily activities, and reduced movement efficiency.

The solution isn’t just stretching.

✅ Stretch the muscles that feel stiff and restricted.
✅ Strengthen the muscles that are weak and underactive.
✅ Improve core control and pelvic stability.
✅ Move more throughout the day.
✅ Follow a progressive strength training program.

Research consistently shows that regular resistance training can help improve movement quality, increase muscle strength, enhance joint support, and reduce pain in many individuals with movement-related issues.

The goal is not to achieve “perfect posture.”

The goal is to build a body that moves better, feels stronger, and tolerates daily activities with less discomfort.

Remember:
Posture alone doesn’t cause pain. But poor movement habits, prolonged inactivity, and lack of strength can contribute to it.

Move well.
Get strong.
Stay consistent.

💪 Strength training is not just about looking better—it’s about building a body that functions better for life.

I wanted to take a moment to share some honest feedback for you, Srinath, now that it’s been six months since I started training with you.

On a personal level, I’ve never stayed this consistent with any fitness routine I’ve taken up before, nor have I seen this kind of progress in the past. I can see a significant improvement in my pain levels, I sleep much better, and I wake up pain-free most days. I know I still have a long way to go, but this in itself feels like a big win for me.

A huge part of this is thanks to Srinath — for his constant push (however annoying it may have felt at times 😊), his guidance, the daily feedback, words of encouragement, his expertise, and practical nutrition tips along the way. He clearly knows how to handle difficult clients who don’t always listen very well! 😃 Thank you for your patience and genuine interest in my progress.
One thing I truly appreciate is how he takes the time to explain the science behind new workouts and how they could specifically benefit me. He does accommodate my requests to switch things up from time to time, bringing variety to the program while still pushing me safely beyond my limits.
I do have to be honest in admitting that there have definitely been days when I wanted to skip the session and just sleep in. But knowing there’s someone going the extra mile and being just as invested — if not more — in my improvement has made me feel accountable and motivated to show up.

Thank you, Srinath, for all your guidance and support over these past few months. Looking forward to many more sessions with you!

Journey with Deepika has been amazing so far. Even Without proper sleep on most of the days, i show up only because she is pushing me to come and constantly making calls to follow up. That push is very much helping for me to show up. Her intuitions on my capability to do something is on point most of the time. She is very good at observing and suggests a modified version whenever i feel a discomfort. Most of the time she asks by noticing because i dont say even if there is a discomfort. We still have a long way to go to achieve the goals. Looking forward ❤️

TESTIMONIAL 😍

In March, my body composition score was 65/100, which itself felt like a huge achievement because I had started from just 43/100. But during my April assessment, the score dropped to 61 & honestly I was disappointed 😅 I kept nagging Loki asking why the score reduced, but he was super calm & simply told me, “We’re just getting started… come with a free mind, no stress, no excuses & give your 100% — I’ll show you the results.”

When I renewed my package, my goal was simple — my brother’s wedding is in June & I wanted to get fit, look good in a suit & at least hit a score of 70 🔥

So Loki designed this program around that goal & made sure every session gave me that proper workout pump 💪 And today, after one month, my assessment score has reached *68/100* 😊 That too after being sick for the last 4 days with fever & stomach upset. So full credits to Loki for pushing & motivating me consistently 👏🔥

One thing I really appreciate is that even on days when I’m mentally down, stressed with office work, or just not in the mood to work out, somehow he’ll make sure I come to the gym 😂 And once I’m there, he changes the whole mood & pushes me to give my best.

This month I’ve hit many PRs in different workouts 🏋️‍♂️ Weights that I once thought were impossible for me to lift, he made me do confidently. Also whenever I felt bored or needed some variation, he immediately tweaked the workouts and kept things interesting 😄

There were definitely days this month where I couldn’t give my best, but next month I’m planning to be much more consistent 💯

Thanks for always being not just a good coach, but also a good friend & listener 😊 Workout sessions are always fun with you bro 🤝🔥

Now the June target is clear 😎
➡️ Reach body score 75
➡️ Improve strength & lean muscle mass
➡️ Fix lower back pain
➡️ Improve overall body stability
