*Price of Neglecting & Demeaning The Medical Profession*

Today is the darkest day for the Medical Profession, Professionals in this country. Dr. Archana Sharma, a Gold Medalist from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi & an eminent Gynaecologist by Profession quit the world following harassment, allegations & humiliation.

It is the day of shame.

Learned professional being targeted under pressure to this extent is miserable.That too for the complications known in the medical science. Under the pretext of negligence blaming the doctor without any knowledgeable reasoning has become fashion & routine. Medical Science, Medical books, knowledge lose their importance completely under pressure situations. Actions and blame game is used to showcase the existence of some regulation, rules & power. Such actions, blames have proved wrong & baseless most of the occasions.

PPH is known complication over decades. Medical complications being named as negligence is nothing but an anarchism. And this anarchism is always centred on the unrealistic beliefs that doctors are always wrong. Portraying doctor wrong gives way out for authorities to control the situations; even if it is at the cost of life of a professional..!!

Dr. Archana Sharma's death is not a su***de. It is a murderous yield of illogical, insane and groundless actions, blames directed towards a learned, devoted professional. Slapping section 302 for so called negligence, which never was, is insane. It is demeaning & serious humiliation of a soft hearted professional mind.

Country lost a professional.
Children lost their mother.
For what? Just to satisfy erring situation?

Dr. Archana Sharma needs justice. Very sad tribute to a true professional. When learned professionals are humiliated to this extent, the future of the country is going to be extremely bleak.
