Acharya Ayurveda Foundation & Team wished you a blessed life all through this New Year!

As a practicing gynaecologist, I come across patients with PCOD very commonly. A generation ago or even a decade ago to my knowledge it wasn’t so prevalent! But now it’s very common, it’s challenging the normal lives of many young women. And seeing them troubled, I thought I’ve to really work on this as a gynaecologist and see if I can bring about some real and lasting impact and not just treat symptomatically and allow the conditions to relapse and reoccur. Towards this search, I learnt that integrative medicine really helps the patients in the long run. It’s heartening to hear from patients who’ve been suffering from varied symptoms of pain, weight gain, irregular cycles, mood swings and so on to come and share their relief and also to take back control of their lives.

Of course I strongly believe that, it’s your health and your health is your responsibility, in that it’s best you take care of it well and visiting a doctor should be the last stop. Healthy habits and approaches, balanced life is most important and key towards a healthy life is my humble recommendation.

Watch this video where I share my thoughts and experiences on how I approach PCOD.

Please share your comments and thoughts.

Globally, the whole professional community from varied fields and professions are moving towards interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches and practices.

In that sense, I’m glad the healthcare domain is catching up fast towards this integration! In the last couple of years, I’ve personally set on a journey, integrating Allopathy, my primary domain of specialization with our age-old Ayurvedic sciences and practices.

The outcome has been rewarding!!!

I strongly believe the approach of any healthcare provider is to look at patient care holistically. What works best for the patient both in terms of therapeutic and healing and also passes the rigorous lens of research and scientific validation.

I continue to experience tremendous transformation in both healing and prevention and adding immense value to my patient’s healthcare.

Towards this journey it’s heartening to see that our government is proactively initiated consultations and bringing the much-needed discussions, dialogue, engagement with stakeholders and also thinking to enact the necessary legislation.

In this small video, I’ve shared my personal experience and thoughts on why integration based on scientific and evidence-based validation is the need of the hour.

Please do watch this video, share your thoughts, and also share it.

Ayurveda means different to different people, when we treat people, there’re lots of questions that come to us, like…

- How does Ayurveda work?
- What’s the key difference between Ayurveda and other popular approaches?
- Diet restrictions?
- Timings?
- How long should I take these medicines?
- Can I take these medicines along with other allopathic medicines?
- What’ll be the cost of treatment?
- Is there any side effects in taking Ayurvedic medicines?
- Is Ayurveda slow in addressing the issues?
- Can Ayurveda treat chronic and acute ailments or is just for joint pains?

To address such questions and other aspects of Ayurvedic treatments & approaches, our President Krishna will talk on these subjects.

Webinar Series on Natural Birthing.

Live on Facebook & Instagram, Presented by NA Hospital, Coimbatore.

Webinar 01 Topic: “Why & What” of Natural Birthing.

As the world realises slowly the importance of nature and it’s also taking efforts to return to its root in a small way.

Towards this, the origin of life, birthing is an important aspect and to allow nature to guide is the fundamental principle of natural birthing.

Science is a key partner and collaborator in this beautiful journey called life, but it’s not a substitute. One has to understand where to use science and it’s rightful place.
And one shouldn’t forget that science has a role and a rightful place.

Further, one has to understand the very intelligence that has birthed this advancement in science, especially medical science is also part of nature only. In-line with it, Mr. Krishna,Speaker for this webinar dwells on the fundamentals of natural birthing and the rightful place and role science has in this journey.

There’s no lockdown for healthcare & wellness…

Greetings from Acharya Ayurveda Foundation (AAF)!

During the lockdown enforced by the government due to COVID pandemic, all most all industries, services and offices came to a standstill.

But healthcare, police, sanitation and other critical services continued to function to serve people by ensuring you and your family are safe and healthy.

Towards this we at AAF are proud to share it with you that even during this lockdown we continued to serve all our patients by adapting technology, through continuous planing and strategising ensuring that all our patients received uninterrupted care and supply of medicines.

Further, to all the existing patients we offered reviews and follow ups without charging professional fees. It’s our bit to offer to the society where we exist. We also ensured this unprecedented economic challenge didn’t come in the way of quality medical care for everyone.

AAF is founded on the principles and vision of integrative and personalised medical care and in-line with it Team AAF ensured that it’s merely not a vision but live action.

We thank all the stakeholders who stood by us, supported us and ensured that there was no lockdown for healthcare!
