I almost gave up breastfeeding because of this one advice…
“If it hurts, don’t feed beyond 15 minutes.”
No one talked about breastfeeding pain.
Everyone was focused on the baby’s weight gain, but I was in pain during every feed.
I saw multiple people.
Everyone said, “Your baby’s latch looks fine.”
But it didn’t feel fine to me.
I was exhausted, doubting myself, and felt so alone.
Breastfeeding was painful, my baby was always crying, and I felt like I was failing.
Then I found Kanimozhi ma’am, an experienced lactation consultant.
She was my final try before giving up completely.
She gave me a proper breastfeeding assessment not just for me, but for my baby too.
She found what others missed: my baby needed oral assessment and bodywork.
That one session changed everything.
I could feel the difference in the baby’s latch immediately.
Only mild pain remained and then it disappeared completely after I followed her breastfeeding care plan for a week.
Now? I’m still breastfeeding my baby pain-free, confident, and connected.
To every mom out there struggling with pain, latch issues, or feeding doubts don’t give up. Find the right support. You deserve it.
