Here’s a very simple, easy-English version with hashtags:
Ever heard someone say “you look like a cashew seed (munthiri kotta)”? 😅
There is a funny reason behind it!
In the 16th century, Portuguese people brought cashew seeds from Brazil to India.
The seeds became trees, and animals like elephants, birds and bats helped spread them everywhere. 🌳🐘🪽
But the interesting part is…
Cashew is not a real seed or a real fruit.
In normal fruits, the seed is inside.
But in cashew, the seed grows outside — so it looks a little funny and wrinkly! 😄
Cashew shells also have a natural chemical that can hurt your skin.
So removing cashews is a very hard and slow process.
That’s why cashews are expensive even in India.
Cool story, right? 🤯
