Neurology noninvasive investigations Comprise of two types of testing namely :Electrophysiological and Neuroimaging.
Electrophysiological TestsThese tools measure the electrical activity of the brain and nerves.
EEG (Electroencephalogram): Measures the electrical impulses in the brain to help diagnose conditions like epilepsy or sleep disorders.
EMG (Electromyography) & Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS): Measures how quickly and strongly signals travel through nerves, and evaluates how muscles respond to nerve stimulation.
Neuroimaging TestsThese tests provide detailed structural and functional visuals of the brain and spinal MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging): Uses magnetic fields to produce highly detailed images, which are crucial for detecting tumors, stroke indicators, and spinal cord injuriesCT (Computed Tomography) Scan: Uses X-rays to generate cross-sectional images, often used for quickly detecting bleeding or major injuries in the brain.
ALL of these tests are performed at our centre for reasonable prices.
