Today, as Director and Head of Unit, Neurosurgery at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, I look back with gratitude at the journey that began in 2012, when I joined Max Healthcare as an Associate Consultant in Neurosurgery.
It has been a long and rewarding journey—full of clinical learning, challenging cases, meaningful responsibilities, and opportunities to grow both as a doctor and as a leader. Over time, I have learned not only from surgeries and decisions, but also from administration, teamwork, and the process of building systems that support better patient care.
Most importantly, I have learned from my patients. Their courage, trust, resilience, and hope have been my greatest teachers. Every patient encounter has added something valuable to my understanding of medicine and of life.
I remain deeply grateful to my mentors, colleagues, patients, and their families for being part of this journey. From where I started to where I am today, the learning continues every single day.
