"Complete cessation of thoughts is Yoga"

We teac Its all about Awareness.

Yoga" is not about how much you are flexible which is a common perception of people about Yoga. "Yoga is a Moving meditation" First u start getting aware of your body which is most close to you and then u start getting aware of your deeper layers of Mind ,emotions and at the last Ur "BEING" which is the source of everything. U live your whole life at the circumference of life. Yoga takes you to th

e center and as soon as u start working from the center , you become witness to everything which is called Sakshi BHaav and once you know this witness self all problems starts vanishing because in the 1st place there was no problem it was only your unawareness which was creating it. " In short YOGA is a way of life not mere exercise "

Lightness and playfulness are inter-connected. A person who is playful will feel a certain lightness of his being. It comes with a spirit of being ego-less. The ego is something very serious. It is too much of identification with the roles that we play in our lives, without the understanding that the role is just a human function. "Osho"

Inversion therapy, or yoga poses that turn the body upside down, can have many health benefits, including improved circulation, flexibility, and strength.

Physical benefits

Improved circulation: Inversions increase blood flow and oxygen to the brain, which can improve cognitive function.

Improved flexibility and strength: Inversions can improve balance, flexibility, and strength.

Detoxification: Inversions stimulate the lymphatic system, which removes toxins from the body.

Back pain relief: Inversions can increase the separation between the discs of the spine, which can relieve back pain.

Improved digestion: Inversions can improve digestion.

Mental benefits

Improved focus- Inversions require focus, which can improve your ability to focus in other situations.

Improved mood

Inversions can release endorphins, such as dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin, which can improve mood.

Improved perspective

Inversions can help you see problems from a different perspective, which can stimulate innovation.

Safety

Inversions are generally safe for healthy people, but should be avoided by people with high blood pressure, acid reflux, spinal instabilities, or glaucoma.

Backbends are not poses meant for expressionism. Backbends are meant to understand the back parts of our bodies. The front body can be seen with the eyes, but the back body can only be felt. That's why I say these are the most advanced postures, where the mind begins to look at the back "B.K.S Iyengar "

Key Principles of Iyengar Backbends:

Advanced & Foundational: Considered among the most advanced postures, they are introduced only after the body is thoroughly trained, tuned, and toned.

Internal Focus (The Back Body): Unlike forward bends, backbends direct attention inward, making the unseen back body perceptible, leading to spiritual discovery.

Caution & Precision: Requires "cautiously bold" action, listening to the spine, and precise alignment (using props like chairs, belts) to prevent injury.

Intelligence & Awareness: Involves bringing conscious intelligence to every joint and muscle, transforming the pose from a physical act to a deep meditative experience.

Spiritual & Mental Growth: Aims to break mental limitations, cultivate perseverance, and naturally lead to meditation and self-realization, allowing one to "look into God".

"Back Extension" vs. "Backbend": He preferred "back extension" to emphasize lengthening and structural integrity over simply bending backward.
