Testimonial of a long term patient, a 25 year old girl, Deeksha. Her complaints were that of repeated episodes of stomach pain and bowel issues for over 2 years and suffered from anxiety and depression for over a year:
'My problems started in 2017 with an episode of severe stomach ache, high fever, vomiting and loose motions after having food from outside. I took homeopathic medicine for a couple of days which gave me some relief but was not properly satisfied with it. Always felt something was wrong. I took antibiotics after one month of suffering but the symptoms kept coming back and the situation got worse. I left for college in Vellore, Tamil Nadu and my health kept deteoriating. My stools were hard which led to fissures, bleeding and rashes in and around the a**l region which would cause pain while passing stools. I would feel weakness and my legs would get wobbly after that. I would feel sleepy and weakness all the time and would lie on bed, wanting to move but couldn't. I had palpitations.
Some doctors diagnosed me with IBS and said there was no cure. There were so many food restrictions. I still developed stomach pains at specific points in upper and lower abdomen and doctor said I have stomach ulcers. I was on restricted diet and couldn't eat anything except idli and dosa.
I came back home (Delhi) in May last year and struggled with tests one after the other but with no definitive diagnosis. In the whole year, I lost hope and will to live. I couldn't sit for placements or higher studies. I would spend days on bed and would feel feverish all the time.
That's when I found out about Asha aunty and I started sittings with her since September 2018. Just within 3-4 sittings, my stomach pain reduced and my constipation reduced. I have been eating properly now and my pain is completely gone. Her treatment helped my mental healing too and 1 year later now, I am going to Germany to pursue my post-graduation. She has been nothing less than a blessing to me and I am extremely grateful to her to have helped me get back to my life of which I had completely lost hope.'
