Max Institute of Medical Education (MIME) successfully organised the Advanced Course in Endoscopic Gynaecological Surgery from 25th May 2026 to 31st May 2026, in collaboration with the Division of Minimally Invasive Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department, Max Healthcare.
Conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Manju Khemani, Principal Director β Obstetrics & Gynaecology & Head of Unit, Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, and Dr. Arpana Haritwal, Principal Consultant β Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, the programme was designed to strengthen competencies in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery through structured academic sessions and practical training.
Designed as a focused and comprehensive training programme, the course aimed to strengthen competencies in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery by combining academic learning with practical, hands-on exposure.
The seven-day programme included:
πΉ Didactic lectures on core concepts and recent advancements in gynaecological endoscopy
πΉ Live OT exposure and surgical case-based learning
πΉ Dry lab training on laparoscopic suturing using endotrainers
πΉ Wet lab hands-on practice on myomectomy and vault closure techniques
πΉ Hysteroscopy training on simulation models
πΉ Exposure to advanced procedures including TLH, laparoscopic myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, and endometriosis management
Through structured learning, surgical exposure, and simulation-based training, the course provided participants with an opportunity to enhance their surgical skills and deepen their understanding of advanced endoscopic procedures.
