It is said that Yoga is good for uncomfortable symptoms of periods, but like it’s mentioned above, ONLY gentle poses and pranayama should be done so as to relieve the body of the symtopms.
The uterus and ovaries are already working to cleanse the body, strenuous Yoga only adds to the stress which should be avoided at all costs.
