Akums makes a significant move into beauty manufacturing.

Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Pure and Cure Healthcare, Akums is set to acquire Oriflame India’s manufacturing business for ₹56 crore. The acquisition will strengthen Akums’ capabilities across skincare, wellness and haircare while marking its entry into the colour cosmetics manufacturing segment.

The transaction includes manufacturing facilities in Roorkee and Noida, along with a leased warehouse in Noida.

This is more than an expansion, it represents the convergence of large-scale manufacturing expertise with the rapidly growing beauty and personal-care industry.
