Reusing cooking oil again and again can be harmful to your health. Hereโs what science clearly tells us ๐
When cooking oil is repeatedly heated at high temperatures:
1:- Trans fats are formed โ they increase LDL (bad cholesterol) and reduce HDL (good cholesterol).
2:- Free radicals and toxic compounds (such as aldehydes) are produced โ these damage body cells.
3:- The oilโs smoke point decreases, causing it to burn faster and release harmful fumes.
4:- Inflammation increases, which is linked to heart disease, insulin resistance, and obesity.
5:- Long-term use may raise the risk of heart problems, digestive issues, and metabolic disorders.
According to WHO, FSSAI, and multiple food chemistry studies, repeatedly heated oil loses its nutritional quality and becomes increasingly toxic.
