The Story of Success

Many years ago, there lived a young boy in a small village. His family was poor, and life was far from easy. Every day he watched people around him struggle just to survive. While other children spent their evenings playing, he often helped his parents earn enough money to put food on the table.

Despite the hardships, the boy had a dream. He didn’t know exactly what success looked like, but he knew he wanted a better life—not only for himself but for the people he loved.

Whenever he spoke about his dreams, people laughed.

“People like us don’t become successful,” they would say.

“Be realistic.”

“Stop dreaming and focus on surviving.”

At first, their words hurt him. He wondered if they were right. Maybe success was only meant for people born into wealth, privilege, and opportunity.

But deep inside, a small voice kept telling him to continue.

Years passed.

The boy grew older and moved to a city in search of opportunities. He had very little money. Sometimes he skipped meals to save enough for rent. Sometimes he worked long hours during the day and spent nights learning new skills.

Life tested him repeatedly.

He applied for jobs and got rejected.

He started projects that failed.

He trusted people who betrayed him.

He invested time into things that never worked.

Every failure felt like a reminder of what people had told him years ago.

“Success isn’t for people like you.”

Many times he thought about giving up.

Many times he almost quit.

But every morning he woke up and decided to try one more time.

One more application.

One more idea.

One more effort.

One more day.

Months became years.

Years became a decade.

Slowly, things began to change.

The skills he spent years learning started opening doors.

The discipline he built during difficult times made him stronger than most.

The failures that once embarrassed him became lessons.

The pain he experienced became wisdom.

And the patience he developed became his greatest strength.

One day, something incredible happened.

A project he had worked on for years finally succeeded.

People started noticing him.

The same people who once ignored him suddenly wanted to know his story.

The same people who laughed at his dreams started calling him an inspiration.

The same people who doubted him asked him for advice.

Reporters wrote articles about his success.

Friends congratulated him.

Strangers admired him.

Everyone saw the result.

Very few saw the journey.

Nobody saw the nights when he cried because nothing seemed to work.

Nobody saw the mornings when he wanted to quit but chose to continue.

Nobody saw the sacrifices.

Nobody saw the failures.

Nobody saw the fear.

They only saw success.

One evening, while looking at everything he had achieved, he remembered the little boy from the village.

The boy who had no money.

The boy who had no connections.

The boy who had no guarantees.

The boy who only had a dream.

At that moment, he realized something important.

Success was never about becoming famous.

It was never about money.

It was never about proving others wrong.

Success was about becoming the person he needed to become in order to achieve his goals.

The greatest victory wasn’t the destination.

It was the transformation.

The poor boy had become a confident man.

The scared child had become courageous.

The dreamer had become a doer.

The person who once doubted himself had learned to believe in himself.

And that was the real success.

Because success is not a single moment.

It is thousands of small decisions made every day.

It is choosing discipline when excuses are easier.

It is choosing faith when fear is louder.

It is choosing action when failure seems certain.

It is getting up one more time than you fall.

Years later, when people asked him for the secret of success, he always gave the same answer:

“There is no secret.

Success belongs to those who keep moving when nobody is watching.

To those who continue when nobody believes.

To those who stay patient when results are invisible.

To those who refuse to quit.”

And then he would smile and add:

“Most people give up just before their breakthrough.

Don’t be most people.”

✨ The road to success is never easy. But every step, every sacrifice, every failure, and every lesson eventually becomes part of a story worth telling. ✨

Moral: Success is not about being the smartest, richest, or luckiest person in the room. Success belongs to those who keep going long after everyone else has stopped.

Under the banner of Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan and under the able guidance and directions of Dr. Shakeel Kichloo, a Free Medical and Awareness Camp was successfully organized at Bharoth Village by the dedicated staff of Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) Barshala.

The camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the rural population and to spread awareness regarding the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. During the camp, comprehensive Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening was carried out for early detection of hypertension, diabetes, and other lifestyle-related illnesses. In addition, Tuberculosis (TB) screening and Anemia screening were also conducted to identify vulnerable individuals and ensure timely medical intervention.

Free medicines and basic healthcare consultation were provided to all the beneficiaries attending the camp. Health education sessions were organized where people were sensitized about the objectives of the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan, the ill effects of drug addiction, to***co, and alcohol abuse, and the importance of adopting healthy habits for a better future. The local population actively participated in the awareness activities and appreciated the healthcare services provided at their doorstep.

A total of 96 beneficiaries availed the services and were benefited during the camp. The initiative reflects the continuous commitment of AAM Barshala towards community healthcare, preventive medicine, and creating awareness for a healthier and addiction-free society.
