Continuing Medical Education (CME) on PMOS at UPUMS, Saifai
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, UPUMS Saifai, under the banner of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society of Etawah, successfully organized a CME program on 3 June 2026, dedicated to advancing knowledge and clinical practice in women's health.
Conducted under the guidance of Prof. & Head Dr. Kalpana Kumari, the academic session featured insightful lectures by Prof. Dr. Urvashi (SNMC Medical College, Agra) on Overview of Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS), Dr. Vandana Gupta on Management of PMOS, and Dr. Amita (Prayagraj Medical College) on Recent Advances in PMOS.
The session was chaired by Dr. Amitabh Shrivastava, Dr. Mamta Singh, Dr. Tripti Yadav, and Dr. Shazia. Engaging scientific discussions were led by Prof. Vaibhav Kanti, Dr. Soniya Vishwakarma, Dr. Nupur Mittal, Dr. Pragati Divedi, Dr. Shalini Singh, Dr. Sarika, and Dr. Shilpi Srivastava, focusing on recent developments and nomenclature changes in PMOS.
With participation from around 40 gynaecologists from UPUMS Saifai and Etawah, the CME highlighted the importance of continuous medical education in enhancing patient care and clinical outcomes. The program was conducted by Dr. Soniya Vishwakarma and Dr. Akanksha Sharma, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Pragati Divedi.
