Makha HWSC conducted the yearly School Vaccination Campaign for students, administering DPT vaccine to 5-year-old children and TD vaccine to students of 10 years and 16 years age group. The campaign was successfully carried out to strengthen routine immunization and protect children against vaccine-preventable diseases.

The programme was conducted with the support and cooperation of school authorities, teachers, parents, and healthcare staff to ensure maximum coverage and awareness among students.

The Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan, a nationwide initiative focusing on women’s health, nutrition, and family well-being, was successfully launched today at Makha HWC-SC in the presence of the Mobile Village Clinic Team and Panchayats.

👉 The programme saw active participation from PRI members and ASHA workers of Paksam, Kokaley, and Makha.

✨ Activities conducted during the Abhiyaan included:
• Free health check-ups: BP, Sugar, Eye, Dental, Cancer Screening, TB Screening, Anemia (HB Check), Pregnancy Check-ups.
• Wellness & lifestyle: Menstrual hygiene, child nutrition, promotion of local food, reducing obesity.
• Easy access: MCP Card, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, JSY, JSSK, Ayushman Cards (70+ years / AAY beneficiaries)
