It includes understanding our body's signals, nourishing ourselves, maintaining hygiene, resting consciously, and seeking support when needed.

Ayurveda's concept of Rajaswala Paricharya encourages women to view menstruation as a time for mindful self-care rather than something to simply "push through.

If your periods regularly involve severe pain, excessive fatigue, heavy clotting, or major disruptions to daily life, it's worth paying attention.
Your cycle is one of your body's most important health indicators.

आजकल लोग ध्यान को भी एक “quick fix” की तरह देखने लगे हैं।

जैसे 10 मिनट बैठते ही stress खत्म हो जाएगा,
mind completely calm हो जाएगा,
और life suddenly perfect लगने लगेगी।

लेकिन meditation ऐसा नहीं है।

ध्यान का पहला अनुभव अक्सर शांति नहीं,
बल्कि अपने भीतर के शोर से मुलाक़ात होता है।

पहली बार जब आप सच में चुप बैठते हैं,
तब एहसास होता है कि मन कितनी तेज़ भाग रहा था।
कितनी बातें दबाकर रखी थीं।
कितनी भावनाएँ सिर्फ distractions के नीचे छुपी हुई थीं।

पातञ्जल योगसूत्र में कहा गया है —

“योगश्चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधः”
— (योगसूत्र 1.2)

अर्थात् योग वह अवस्था है
जहाँ चित्त की वृत्तियाँ धीरे-धीरे शांत होने लगती हैं।

लेकिन यह “forcefully mind को रोकना” नहीं है।
यह awareness के साथ स्वयं को देखना है।

धीरे-धीरे meditation आपको बदलना शुरू करता है —

• आप हर बात पर तुरंत react नहीं करते
• Anxiety आने पर भी आप उसमें डूबते नहीं
• आपका nervous system थोड़ा सुरक्षित महसूस करने लगता है
• नींद, साँसें और thoughts बदलने लगते हैं
• आप लोगों से validation माँगना कम कर देते हैं
• अकेले बैठना uncomfortable नहीं लगता
• और सबसे बड़ा बदलाव —
आप खुद से दूर भागना छोड़ देते हैं 🌿

ध्यान कोई escape नहीं है।
यह स्वयं के पास लौटने की प्रक्रिया है।

Perfect meditation जैसी कोई चीज़ नहीं होती।
कुछ दिन मन शांत होगा,
कुछ दिन सिर्फ बेचैनी महसूस होगी।
फिर भी बैठना… वही practice है।

शायद इसी consistency में healing छुपी है। 🤍
