Because Freedom Has a Price.

26 July — Kargil Vijay Diwas

Today isn't just another Sunday.

It marks 27 years of India's victory in the Kargil War (1999), when our brave soldiers reclaimed the nation's peaks after weeks of fighting in some of the world's toughest high-altitude conditions. The victory came after Operation Vijay, and the day honors the courage and sacrifice of the 527 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives.

🇮🇳 Did You Know?

✅ The battle was fought at altitudes above 16,000–18,000 feet.

✅ Soldiers climbed near-vertical icy mountains carrying heavy equipment.

✅ Captain Vikram Batra's famous words—

"Yeh Dil Maange More!"

became a symbol of courage for an entire generation.

Every battle isn't fought on a border.

Some are fought...
