My last workshop taught me 5 things.
1. People are tired of constantly being “on.”
We are constantly doing, achieving, responding and taking care of things. Sometimes what we really need is permission to pause.
2. Wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Some people need movement. Some need stillness. Some need meditation. Some connect deeply with energy work. There isn’t one doorway into healing.
3. The mind and body cannot be treated separately.
What we carry emotionally often shows up physically, and what happens in the body can influence how we feel mentally.
4. People don’t necessarily need more information. They need experiences.
A space where they can actually slow down, feel, reflect and reconnect with themselves.
5. There is a growing need for integrated wellness.
Not yoga or meditation or Reiki, but thoughtfully bringing different practices together depending on what a person needs.
And these conversations have stayed with me.
They’ve inspired me to start building a new set of programs for both men and women, bringing together practices I’ve worked with over the years, including Reiki, meditation, yoga and other healing modalities.
I’m still building them, and I’m excited to share what’s coming.
