Chikitsa Charitable Trust, registered in 1999, provides completely free primary health care (consultations & medicines) in and around Delhi-NCR. Except for a one-time registration fee of Rs 10 towards a Patient’s Medical History booklet, 'CHIKITSA' provides completely free primary health care (consultations and medicines) in localities where we function.

'CHIKITSA' started as a community health

initiative fifteen years ago at the Gauri Shankar Mandir at Sector 12, RK Puram, New Delhi, with a free clinic to serve nearby slum dwellers. Since then we have grown to three base clinics and ten mobile clinics in Delhi-NCR, using premises provided to us by local bodies or community organisations. Moreover, in cooperation with Kiwanis Club of New Delhi, we provide free artificial limbs at our base clinic in Sector 40, Gurgaon. Our free health services benefit residents of Sangam Vihar, Vasant Kunj, and Zakhira slum in Delhi, as also of Dundahera, Tigra, Chakkarpur and other villages in Gurgaon.
