A small step in skin preparation can make a practical difference.

When preparing a patient’s skin before a procedure, the antiseptic solution is only one part of the process — how it is applied also matters.

A pre-saturated swab stick provides a ready-to-use format for applying antiseptic directly to the intended area.

For clinical teams, a few practical points are worth considering:

• Pre-saturated format — the applicator arrives with the antiseptic solution already in place and is ready for use.

• Controlled application — the soft tip helps spread solution across the skin in a controlled manner.

• Different application volumes — 1.5 ml and 3 ml options can be selected according to the procedure and area.

• Single-use & individually packed — each swab is individually packed to support aseptic handling and reduce cross-contamination risk.

Maintaining disinfection between needleless IV accesses is an important part of catheter maintenance and infection prevention.
