Do you suffer from Frozen Shoulder , Sinus , Hairloss then Nasya or putting oil drops in the nose is your remedy

Did you know that you have an easy and effective way to support and enhance mental clarity, memory, increased awareness, decreased stress, greater equilibrium
In Ayurveda, caring for the nostrils and nasal passages is a simple yet important component of a healthy daily routine that provides benefits beyond the delights of clear, unobstructed breathing.

It lubricates the nasal passage, preventing allergies
Prevents headaches, earaches, sore throat
Relieves tension from neck, head and shoulder area ( frozen shoulder)
Gives more mental clarity, calms down the nervous system.
Helps in Regrowth Of Hair as it stimulates the hair roots.

Walking on the Grass Barefoot

My thought of the morning was why Treadmills are getting more popular and more people investing on it. Here are my views as an Ayurveda Expert on walking on the green grass than the treadmill

1) Walking on the grass stimulates all the pressure points, our feet have the reflexology points or the Marma points which stimulates our organs and keeps them in good health.
2) Vitamin D Deficiency has become one of the most common ailment resulting in Aches & Pains, Brittle Hair & Nail, a common problem with women. Walking in the morning on the grass naturally replenishes Vitamin D
3) In Ayurveda the 5 Elements
Earth
Water
Fire
Air
Ether makes a body, by walking on the grass we get connected to Earth Element which has Magnetic Field and a certain flow of energy. This exchange of energy neutralizes negative electric impulses of our body thus preventing certain disease
Walking Barefoot on the grass makes your body alkaline

HAPPY WALKING

*Must follow ayurvedic rules about FRUIT consumption to get maximum benefits.*

🥭🍊🍉 Fruits are nature's best gift to us they are full of nutrients, and energy which we only get if they are consumed in proper way.

👉Consume fruit separately always 🍍

👉Ripen fruits are most easy 😀to digest as they immediately convert into rasa( nutritive fluid) but when we eat them immediately before meal or with other food like milk, curd ,cream etc which are heavy to digest they obstruct fruit digestion🌻 and cause them to ferment which in result produce acidic waste ( which is called AMA in ayurveda)and if this habit is continued then digestive disorders like gas, acidity, bloating,😫 indigestion etc will appear.( I find this in 95% of my patients). This will also over a period of time bring in pains of the joints .

Sometimes you wonder🧐 even after having healthy food you suffer from digestive disorders but following simple rules like avoiding fruits with meal you can prevent yourself from such gut issues🌼

👉 Consume fruits with few hours gap with food.✅

👉Fruits also should never be combined with vegetables ,now a common trend of having smoothies made with combining vegetables , fruits milk or curd it is not ❌recommended at all as per Vedic Diet

👉Time to take fruit also depends on nature of the fruit like heavy fruits mango🥭, jackfruit should be consumed when hunger is more like before meal similarly light fruits like pomegranate can be consumed after meal but with an interval of atleast 2 hours .

👉 It is best to not have fruits🌛🌟 at night as sweet fruits increase kapha ( combination of earth and water element ) kapha is naturally dominated at night .In Winters which is the Vata season fruits should not be consumed after 4 PM at all

👉Sequence of having food according to there rasa is sweet , sour, salt, pungent , bitter and astringent similar pattern can be followed in case of fruits.🍓

👉Fruit juices 🍹are believed to be more nutritional but they are more concentrated and heavy to digest compared to whole fruits,so it is better to have fruit🍉🍇🍊 then juice , occasionally you can have juice in moderate quantity.

🌱 Ayurveda do not have fix rules for all as we all are different and have different dosha prakriti and it is recommended to eat fruits according to prakriti and digestive strength.

👉fruits for Vata prakriti🌪️ - cooked apple, banana, Coconut, dates, fig, grapes, kiwi, lime, ripe mango, musk melon orange, papaya, plumes, soaked raisins etc .

👉Fruits for pitta prakriti🔥- they should take only ripen fruits, sweet grapes, pear, pomegranate, apple, coconut, dates, fig, water melon etc.

👉Fruits for kapha prakriti🌊- they should have small quantity of fruits. Apple, pomegranate, fig, lemon, pear, soaked raisins etc.

👉Most simple rule 👍is to have fresh ,local and seasonal fruits🌏 only. Take one fruit at a time ( mono fruit) which helps you to understand there effect on you, also it gets digested easily . Totally avoid fruit salad or other fruit dishes like smoothies .☘️

The holiest month in the Hindu lunar calendar is here ‘Kartik’, the month, also known as Damodar Maas, is described in the scriptures as the best among months .
This year it started on 23 October and ends on Thursday, 21 November. While many devotional activities are performed during this holy month, As per Vedic Diets this period also calls for change in food habits to stay fit and healthy as suggested in Vedic Diets .

1) Non Veg Food : One should avoid non-vegetarian food in this holy month as in this month animals are in the process of reproduction . According to medical science, during the month of Kartik, human beings’ digestion power also weakens and the stomach takes two to three days more to digest non-vegetarian than vegetarian food.
Hence, it is said that those who abstain from non-vegetarian food during this month will live healthy lives.

2) Drinking Milk : Consume a glass of milk daily along with 50 grams jaggery to enhance the energy level and immune system of the body in the month of Kartik

3) Eat Jaggery : From keeping the body warm to controlling blood pressure, jaggery is known for its magical health benefits. It is suggested to consume jaggery on a daily basis in the month of Kartik to keep the body safe from pollutants, blood pressure issue and seasonal cough and cold.

4) Acidity : In case the weather change leads to acute acidity, make a mixture of jaggery, black salt and rock salt and consume at night. This will help control acidity and will also control continuous burping.
Avipathi chooran 5 gms with warm water empty stomach first thing in the morning

5) Bittergourd : Stop the consumption of Bittergourd/ Karela as the Vata season is on . Kerela / Bittergourd aggravates it plus now you would start finding small worms or insects in it .
