To everyone who has ever crossed my path…
To the classmates who shared a bench with me,
the colleagues who shared a chapter,
the friends who became family,
the relatives who shaped some part of my story…
To the strangers with whom I exchanged just two minutes,
the co-passengers who shared a bus, a train, a flight,
the person who smiled at me on a road,
the ones I met once and may never meet again.
To the people I loved,
the people I lost,
the people who taught me something without ever knowing they did.
And even to the stories I met through books, films, songs and places
things that made me think differently, feel deeply,
or see the world through someone else’s eyes.
You may not remember me.
Some of you may never even know how much you mattered.
But I believe we leave little pieces of ourselves in everyone we encounter.
A word. A kindness. A disagreement. A laugh.
A lesson. A wound. A perspective.
Sometimes, just a moment.
And I carry pieces of all of you with me.
So, wherever you are in this world—
whether we walked together for years
or only crossed paths for a few minutes
thank you for being a small part of the person I became.
Maybe we will never meet again.
Maybe we were never meant to.
But for a few moments, a few years,
or perhaps just chaar kadam…
our paths crossed.
And somehow, that changed my life. 🤍
