✔ Pistachios – Packed with antioxidants and fiber

🥚 Eggs: One of the most misunderstood superfoods!

For years, eggs have been surrounded by confusion — especially when it comes to yolk, cholesterol, and how many you can actually eat. Let’s clear it up with science, not fear. 👇

🔸 MYTH: Eat only egg whites, yolk is unhealthy
👉 FACT: The yolk is where most of the nutrition lies — rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, B12, choline (great for brain health) and healthy fats. Skipping yolk means missing out on real benefits.

🔸 MYTH: Brown eggs are healthier than white eggs
👉 FACT: The color depends on the hen’s breed — nutritionally, both are almost the same. Don’t fall for marketing!

🔸 MYTH: Eggs increase cholesterol
👉 FACT: For most healthy individuals, eggs do NOT significantly impact blood cholesterol. In fact, they can improve good cholesterol (HDL).

🔸 MYTH: More than 2 eggs a day is unhealthy
👉 FACT: Eggs are a high-quality protein source. For most people, 1–3 eggs daily can absolutely be part of a healthy diet depending on overall lifestyle and health condition.

💚 Why eggs are amazing:
✔ High-quality complete protein
✔ Keeps you full for longer (great for weight management)
✔ Supports brain, eye & muscle health
✔ Easy, affordable & versatile

✨ The key is not to fear foods, but to understand them correctly.

As a dietitian, I always say — don’t follow trends, follow science.

Salt is not your enemy… imbalance is ⚖️

We often hear “salt is bad” — but that’s only half the truth.
Salt (sodium) is actually an essential mineral required for nerve function, muscle contraction, and maintaining fluid balance in the body.

✨ The real problem?
👉 Too much sodium + too little potassium

This imbalance can lead to:
• High blood pressure
• Water retention & bloating
• Increased risk of heart issues

💡 What you should focus on instead:
✔️ Moderate your salt intake (not eliminate it)
✔️ Increase potassium-rich foods in your daily diet

🥗 Add more of these:
• Banana 🍌
• Coconut water 🥥
• Spinach & leafy greens 🥬
• Cucumber 🥒
• Sweet potato 🍠

⚠️ Remember:
Even “pink salt”, “rock salt” or “sea salt” are still sodium — don’t get misled by marketing.

🧠 Dietitian tip:
The goal is not “low salt”, it’s balanced electrolytes.

Because health is not about extremes…
It’s about balance 💚

Back to where my heart truly belongs 🤍✨

After delivering my baby boy on 23rd December and months of working from home through pregnancy and postpartum, today was my first day back at Health Villa Diet Clinic… and it felt nothing less than magical 🌿

Holding my little one close, with my husband by my side, and doing what I love the most—guiding my clients towards better health… today felt complete. Watching my baby so calm, so happy at my clinic while I worked… that moment is something I’ll cherish forever 🥹💛

Yes, my body feels different right now. Postpartum changes, hormonal shifts, weight gain—it’s all real. But so is this phase of growth, healing, and self-love. I’m embracing every bit of it, because this journey has given me the most beautiful gift of my life 🤍

I know, slowly and steadily, I will rebuild myself—stronger, healthier, and even better than before. Not just for how I look, but for how I feel… for my baby, my family, and for me 🌸

Motherhood + Passion = A whole new version of me ✨

Craving salty snacks all the time? 🧂
It’s not always about willpower… it’s your body signaling something deeper 👇

👉 One common reason = Low potassium levels

When potassium is low, your body may try to balance electrolytes by increasing salt cravings.

🔍 Instead of reaching for chips & namkeen, try this:
✔ Coconut water
✔ Banana
✔ Leafy greens
✔ Sweet potato
✔ Lentils & pulses

💡 Dietitian Tip:
Frequent salt cravings can also be linked to:
• Dehydration
• Stress & cortisol imbalance
• Poor sleep
• Excess processed food intake

✨ Fix the root cause, not just the craving.

📩 Save this & share with someone who always reaches for salty snacks!

There’s a common myth that vegetarian protein causes indigestion — but that’s not the real issue.

The discomfort many people feel after eating plant-based proteins like chickpeas, beans, or lentils is often due to improper preparation, not the protein itself.

🌱 Legumes naturally contain compounds like phytates and enzyme inhibitors.
These are protective compounds for the plant, but in our body they can:
• Interfere with nutrient absorption
• Slow down digestion
• Cause bloating or heaviness if not handled properly

✨ The solution? Traditional wisdom had it right!

✔️ Soaking (8–12 hours) helps break down phytates
✔️ Sprouting enhances nutrient availability and digestibility
✔️ Proper cooking softens fibers and reduces anti-nutrients
✔️ Adding spices like jeera, hing, ginger further supports digestion

When prepared correctly, plant proteins are not only easy to digest but also:
💚 Rich in fiber
💚 Great for gut health
💚 Sustainable and nourishing

So next time you feel bloated after eating legumes, don’t blame the protein — check the process.

Your gut doesn’t reject vegetarian protein, it just asks for a little care in preparation ✨

✨ Turmeric & Pepper Tea — your simple yet powerful home remedy

Sniffling, low immunity, or just feeling off?
This warm cup can do more than just comfort you 🌿

Turmeric (haldi) is rich in curcumin, a natural anti-inflammatory compound, while black pepper enhances its absorption — making this duo incredibly effective for healing and recovery.

💛 Why you should sip on this:
✔️ Powerful antioxidant duo that fights free radicals
✔️ Helps reduce inflammation and body aches
✔️ Supports immunity & protects from seasonal infections
✔️ Aids faster recovery from cold & cough
✔️ Improves digestion & gut health
✔️ Natural detox support for your body
✔️ May help soothe sore throat and congestion

🌿 How to make it:
Boil 1 cup water + ½ tsp turmeric + a pinch of crushed black pepper
(Optional: add ginger or honey for extra benefits & taste)

✨ Sip it warm, especially during weather changes or when your body needs a little extra care.

Because sometimes, healing doesn’t come from complicated things…
it comes from your kitchen 💛
