🩺 KGMT Multispeciality Hospital – Free Medical Camp at Bortal Tiniali, Nazira

KGMT Multispeciality Hospital successfully conducted its 3rd Free Medical Camp at Bortal Tiniali, Nazira, where our team provided health check-ups and free medicines to 160 patients.

With this camp, KGMT has now reached and served more than 300 people across all three medical camps in Nazira, providing essential healthcare support, medicines, and health awareness to the community.

The 2nd Day of KGMT Multispeciality Hospital’s Free Health Camp at Kamal Chapari, Nazira, was carried out with the valuable guidance and support of Former MLA of Nazira Constituency, Mr. Debabrata Saikia, and his team, along with the guidance of Professor Gajendra Sarma.

As a local guide and well-wisher, their support has helped our medical team reach the community and understand the local needs better. We are grateful for their cooperation, guidance, and commitment towards the health and well-being of the people of Kamal Chapari.

8th August 2026 | First Day – Free Medical Health Check-up Camp at Nazira 🩺❤️

On 8th August 2026, KGMT Multispeciality Hospital, in collaboration with Probaah Development Trust, successfully conducted the first day of our Free Medical Health Check-up Camp at Nazira.

At the very beginning of this initiative, we received valuable help and cooperation from former MLA of Nazira Constituency, Mr. Debabrata Saikia, his son Mr. Debashish Saikia, and their team, whose support helped us make this camp successful. 🤝

On our first day, we were able to reach more than 85 families, providing medical consultations and essential medicines. We also distributed utensils, clothes and other necessary items to families in need.

For us, this is not just a medical camp—it is an effort to serve people, support communities and bring healthcare closer to those who need it most. ❤️

And our journey continues…

On 9th August 2026, we are moving forward to Dimoria to continue this initiative and reach more families with care, support and hope.

🌍 World ORS Day Celebration | 30 July 2026

KGMT Multispeciality Hospital, Guwahati, proudly observed World ORS Day on 30 July 2026 with the theme:

"ORS First: Every Child, Every Diarrhea, Every Time."

On this occasion, Dr. Nivedita Goswami Ma'am, Dr. Arup Kr. Kakoty Sir, and Dr. Nirmal Ch. Bhattacharyya Sir conducted an informative awareness session highlighting the importance of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS).

They explained:

Why ORS is essential in preventing dehydration.

When ORS should be given, especially during diarrhea.

The correct method of preparing and drinking ORS.

How timely use of ORS can save lives, particularly among children.

The session aimed to educate the public that early use of ORS is a simple, affordable, and life-saving step in the management of diarrhea.

KGMT Hospital | Flood Relief Mission

Even in the darkest hours of the night, the KGMT Hospital team stood beside flood-affected families with one mission—to protect lives and restore hope.

Our doctors, nurses, and volunteers not only distributed essential relief materials but also created awareness about preventing vector-borne diseases. We educated families on protecting themselves from mosquitoes, maintaining hygiene during floods, caring for pregnant women, ensuring proper baby care, supporting the health of elderly people, and improving immunity during this difficult time.

Based on individual health needs, we provided:

Vitamins

Mosquito repellent creams and mosquito dhoop

Phenyl and bleaching powder

Sanitary pads

Milk and baby essentials

Rice, pulses, salt, soap, detergent, dry fruits, and other relief materials

Our team also reached people staying homeless by the roadside and in temporary shelters, ensuring they received timely guidance, essential support, and relief materials.
