On the occasion of World No To***co day today conducted Ayushman Arogya Shivir at two different sites - At the Purbanchal Cement Ltd, Bornyhat and at Hatigarh Chariali, Ghy.
Services delivered-
1.TB Screening through handheld X ray
2.Sputum collection from the symptomatics
3.NCD Screening
4.Hep B and Hep C screening
5.Fever screening
6.Health check up by MMU team at Purbanchal Cement Ltd.

Today camp was visited by Dr Dhruba Deka, National Team Lead, WHO, Dr Gautam Borgohain, WHO Consultant and Dr Jyotika... At the Shibir distributed food baskets to the 8 numbers of TB patients by the Purbanchal Cement Ltd.

In relation to the ongoing 100 days TB campaign an Ayushman Arogya Shibir is organized on 23rd may, 2026 by the District TB Center Kamrup Metro led by Dr Mridul Bharati Nath, District TB Officer and Dr Rinku in association with the Central Hospital, NF Railway Maligaon led by Dr Manik Medhi where - - TB Screening with the hand held X Ray machine,
--Non Communicable disease Screening like diabetes, high blood pressure etc,
--Fever Screening for Malaria, dengue,Japanese encephalitis,
--HIV/AIDS Screening were done where more than 100 vulnerable population were Screened for the above disease. Before starting the camp an awareness rally on TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was carried out by the NF Railway Employees with the participation of Local people.
