Task Team Members, Bathula Amith Nagaraj, TTL, Alessandro Di Rosa, Social Development Specialist, and Disna Bandra, Environment Specialist, visited the ASSIST Project sites under AHIDMS from 6–9 July to review the implementation of Environmental and Social (E&S) safeguards, statutory compliance, documentation, and records related to labour welfare and site safety.
The mission included visits to the New District Hospital construction sites at Kaliabor, Dudhnoi, and Azara, as well as Goalpara District Hospital, and the proposed site for the Proton Therapy Centre. A technical review meeting was also held at the AHIDMS office, followed by a visit to the Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility at Panikhaiti construction.
