A child diagnosed with DSL came to us at Sanwal’s Speech and Hearing Clinic with concerns related to speech and language development. She was able to speak only in single words and found it difficult to form meaningful sentences. Her mother was deeply worried, as the child faced challenges in expressing her needs, answering questions, and communicating effectively in daily life.

A young student from Haldwani visited Sanwal’s Speech and Hearing Clinic one month back with concerns related to stammering. He was pursuing his studies but often faced difficulty while speaking, especially during conversations with strangers and in social situations. His speech showed moderate levels of stammering, which affected his confidence and communication.

Three months ago, little Manswin walked into our clinic with silence in his world and tears in his mother’s eyes.
He was unable to speak even a single word, did not respond to his name, had difficulty communicating, and his behaviour challenges made everyday life difficult for the family. His mother was deeply worried about his future.

A small step towards better hearing can change an entire life 💙

On 1st May, Sanwal Clinic of Speech and Hearing proudly organized a Free Hearing Screening Camp at Aarohi Arogya Kendra with the aim of spreading awareness and helping individuals struggling with hearing difficulties. 🌸

We were overwhelmed to see so many people come forward for their hearing tests. People from nearby villages including Satkhol, Diyari, Mouna, Peora, and Sitla attended the camp to get their hearing checked and seek proper guidance regarding hearing and communication difficulties. ✨

Through proper screening, counseling, and hearing aid solutions, many individuals who were facing difficulty in listening and speaking found hope and the right direction toward better communication and a better quality of life. Some beneficiaries also received suitable hearing aid solutions, helping them reconnect with sounds, conversations, and the world around them. 💙

Such initiatives remind us that awareness, early identification, and timely intervention can truly transform lives. Together, we continue our mission of making every voice heard and every sound meaningful. 🌿

When Reyansh first came to us, he was completely non-verbal. His parents carried hope in their hearts, but like many families, they also carried fear and uncertainty. The first month passed… and there was little visible change.

“Will my child ever speak?”

At one point, she almost decided to stop.
