Where attention goes, energy flows.
What we truly value tends to find its way into our priorities. And our priorities, in turn, influence the choices we make.
If we value our health, we may not eat perfectly every day, but more often than not, we will make choices that support our well-being.
If we value our relationships, we may occasionally say the wrong thing, lose our patience or fail to give enough time, but we will make an effort to listen, care, apologise, repair and show up.
If we value ourselves, we may sometimes compromise or put others first, but we won't make a habit of constantly neglecting our own needs, boundaries and well-being.
And yes, there will be exceptions.
We may have a cheat meal.
We may skip a workout.
We may slip up in the way we speak or behave in a relationship.
We may occasionally put ourselves last.
