In a recent publication, Envigo ++++’s ICR (CD-1®) outbred mice were used as preclinical pain models to study how activation of MNK-eIF4E signaling effects hypersensitivity and migraine pain. The study suggested that inhibiting the MNK signaling pathway may have significant therapeutic potential as a treatment for migraine.
