Hear from Dr. Sweta Sneha, Executive Director and Professor at Kennesaw State University (KSU), during the two-day THIT event on 13-14 February 2023 at Taj Palace, New Delhi, India.
Dr. Sweta Sneha is the founder and lead architect of Healthcare Management and Informatics (HMI) and the Consortium of Digital Healthcare Transformation. She leads KSU's strategy to innovate and design the healthcare of the future while optimizing industry-academic partnerships, mentorship, faculty/student success, and evolving fundraising/scholarship opportunities. Dr. Sneha brings over two decades of experience in healthcare and technology to her current role as a digital healthcare leader with the passion to enhance equity, impact, and reach of STEAM education for a diverse workforce ready to transform the community. She is a recipient of the Woman of the Year in Technology (2022), Distinguished Service Award, KSU Collaboration Award, NCWIT RISE-IT Award, and Women in Technology (WIT) Honoree/Top Three Finalist (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021).
Dr. Sneha has published over 100 peer-reviewed research; authored a book on revolutionizing healthcare; delivered panel sessions, workshops, and keynotes; in addition to serving on several boards. Dr. Sneha serves as an editorial steward and university ambassador for Blockchain in Healthcare Today; editorial board for Health Systems Journal; co-chairs Health IT at AMCIS, and HICSS. Dr. Sneha has a Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
