Today, on the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, we at SLG Hospitals by Ajeenkya Dy Patil Healthcare pay our deepest respects to a visionary who not only shaped the Constitution of India but also laid the foundation for equity, dignity, and access for all.

As healthcare leaders, his life offers timeless lessons that remain profoundly relevant:

🔹 Equity in Access – True healthcare leadership lies in ensuring that quality care reaches the last mile, irrespective of socioeconomic status.

🔹 Dignity of Every Patient – Beyond treatment, every patient deserves respect, empathy, and humane care.

🔹 Education as Empowerment – Continuous learning and evidence-based practice are the backbone of clinical excellence.

🔹 Systemic Reform – Just as Babasaheb reformed societal structures, we must constantly evolve healthcare systems to be more inclusive, efficient, and transparent.

🔹 Courageous Leadership – Standing up for what is right, even in the face of adversity, defines true leadership.

At SLG Hospitals by Ajeenkya Dy Patil Healthcare, we reaffirm our commitment to building a healthcare ecosystem that reflects these ideals—accessible, ethical, and patient-centric.

A humble tribute to a legend whose vision continues to inspire generations.

April 11, 2026 | World Parkinson’s Day
Theme: Bridge the Care Gap

On this World Parkinson’s Day, my perspective is not just that of a doctor—but also of a son.

Watching a parent live with Parkinson’s disease changes you.
You begin to understand that it is not just a clinical condition—it is a slow, relentless impact on dignity, independence, and identity.

I have seen strength in the smallest victories—
• A steady step
• A day without stiffness
• A smile despite the struggle

As a clinician, I prescribe treatment.
But as a son, I have learned that what truly matters is:
• Patience in every moment
• Dignity in every interaction
• Support that goes beyond medicine
• And compassion that never runs out

Parkinson’s doesn’t just affect one person—it reshapes the entire family’s journey.

Today, I stand with every patient fighting silently, and every caregiver holding them up with unwavering love.

On this year’s theme, “Bridge the Care Gap,” let us move beyond awareness—towards deeper understanding, earlier diagnosis, and truly patient-centric care.
Because sometimes, healing begins not with a prescription—but with empathy.

More Than Just a Talk: Health in Action at Cyber Pearl

On World Health Day 2026, I spent a truly grounding session with the young IT professionals at High Spring Vaco, Hyderabad.

I was joined by my colleagues—Dr. Appi Reddy, Dr. Sekhar, Dr. Rajendra, and Clinical Psychologist Ms. Meghana—but the real heart of the day was seeing health move from conversation into action.

Putting Science into Practice
While we shared insights on everything from spine health to mental resets, our incredible nursing staff was on the ground, running a basic health screening camp right at the center. It was a reminder that the first step toward "Standing with Science" is simply knowing your numbers.

The Human Takeaway:
A "Check-up" is a Start: Seeing the team pause their busy day to get screened showed a genuine readiness to prioritize themselves.

Listen to the Signs: Whether it was Dr. Appi Reddy’s advice on emergency signs or Dr. Rajendra’s focus on posture, and Dr. Sekhar's advice on prevention & early detection of cancer, the message was clear: don't ignore the "pings" your body sends you.

Daily Resets: Ms. Meghana reminded us that mental wellness isn't a luxury—it’s the fuel that prevents burnout.

The Power of Consistency: From my perspective, the secret isn't a complex ritual; it’s the simple, honest commitment to sleep, diet, and regular check-ups.

A Shared Responsibility
What moved me most was the honesty of this generation. They are ready to lead healthier lives; they just need us to meet them where they are.

As healthcare leaders, our mission is simple: take prevention and empathy out of the hospital and into the workplace.

Huge thanks to our nursing team and High Spring Vaco for making health feel personal and accessible.

Happy Hanuman Jayanti!

As someone navigating the complexities of healthcare, I find that the story of Lord Hanuman isn’t just ancient lore—it’s a masterclass in modern leadership.

On this day, I’m reflecting on three core qualities that help us lead with more heart and less ego:

Selfless Service:
Hanuman’s strength was never about personal glory; it was always about the mission. In healthcare, when we shift our focus from "me" to "we," the quality of care transforms.

The "Mountain-Mover" Resolve:
We all face our "Sanjeevani" moments—those high-stakes crises where the path forward isn't clear. It’s a reminder to be resourceful and relentless for the sake of our patients.

Radical Humility:
True power lies in being a lifelong student. The best leaders I know are those who, like Hanuman, remain humble enough to listen and learn from every member of their team.

Leadership in healthcare is about devotion over position. By balancing immense strength with genuine humility, we don’t just manage systems—we heal communities.

Let’s strive to be the strength that others can lean on today.

Warm greetings to my sisters and brothers of Odisha on Utkal Diwas!

As a proud child of this soil, my heart swells with gratitude today. On April 1, 1936, our ancestors didn't just draw a map; they reclaimed an identity. Odisha became the first state in India carved out by the power of our mother tongue, proving that our language is the thread that weaves our past to our future.

From the sacred hymns of Jagannath Puri to the steel plants shaping India’s skyline, we are a land of resilience and grace.

The Giants Among Us
We stand tall on the shoulders of icons who carry our spirit to the world:

The Visionaries: Hon’ble President Droupadi Murmu and Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, leading with the humility and strength that defines our people.

The Warriors: Sporting legends like Dilip Tirkey and Pramod Bhagat, who remind us that an Odia never backs down from a challenge.

A Future of Care and Growth

Our journey is no longer just about survival; it is about thriving. Odisha is transforming—from becoming a global industrial hub to revolutionizing healthcare. With new medical colleges and expanded critical care, we are ensuring that the heartbeat of every Odia stays strong and healthy.

"Pakhala's simplicity, the Odissi’s elegance, and the Konark’s grandeur—this is who we are."

Today, we look back with pride and forward with unwavering confidence. May our fields be green, our spirits high, and our progress unstoppable.

On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami, we at SLG Hospitals by Ajeenkya DY Patil Healthcare had the privilege of extending care beyond our hospital walls.

We successfully conducted a comprehensive health camp at Global School, reaffirming our commitment to community wellness and preventive healthcare.

From basic health screenings to expert medical guidance, our dedicated team ensured that students, staff, and families received timely attention and awareness on healthy living.

The smiles, gratitude, and engagement we witnessed truly made the initiative meaningful.

At SLG, we believe that healthcare is not just about treating illness—it’s about reaching people where they are, promoting awareness, and building healthier communities.

Grateful to the management of Global School, our clinical teams, and everyone who made this initiative a success.

Ram Navami: Leadership Lessons for Healthcare

Ram Navami is more than a celebration—it is a reminder of the values that define responsible leadership.

Lord Ram’s life teaches us dharma (duty), compassion, and integrity—principles that resonate deeply in healthcare.

As healthcare leaders, our duty is simple yet profound:
• Put patients first
• Lead with ethics and empathy
• Serve society with humility and accountability

Every decision in a hospital affects lives. Ram Navami reminds us that true leadership is not power—it is responsibility.

Wishing everyone a blessed Ram Navami. May the spirit of dharma guide us in building a healthier and more compassionate society.
