Hetero was honored to engage in high-level discussions with H.E. Dr. Dao Hong Lan, Minister of Health of Vietnam, and senior government leaders during our recent visit to Vietnam.

The discussions, led by Mr. Murali Krishna Reddy Bheemireddy - Director of Emerging Markets, focused on strengthening India–Vietnam cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, advancing pharmaceutical innovation, expanding access to affordable, high-quality medicines, and exploring opportunities to enhance local manufacturing capabilities through advanced pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical technologies. The meetings also reinforced our commitment to supporting Vietnam’s healthcare priorities and long-term pharmaceutical development goals.

As part of the visit, Hetero leadership also met with the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province to explore potential investment opportunities in high-tech pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing, contributing to the growth of Vietnam’s healthcare ecosystem and pharmaceutical self-reliance.

Building on the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between Hetero and Vinapharm during the India–Vietnam Business Forum held in Mumbai, we look forward to deepening collaborations that foster innovation, technology transfer, and sustainable healthcare solutions for patients across Vietnam and the region.

Proud to share the successful completion of Endocrine Practice, Innovation & Clinical Insights (EPIC 1.0) on the eve of International Mother’s Day, uniting global healthcare experts across Emerging Markets to advance better metabolic health for mothers through scientific exchange and collaboration.

Under the theme “Her Health, Her Future: The Mother’s Metabolic Continuum,” the webinar featured renowned endocrinologist Prof. Julia Mader, who delivered valuable insights on diabetes and cardio-renal-metabolic risk management across every stage of a mother’s lifelong health journey.

The webinar brought together healthcare professionals from 50+ countries across Asia, Africa, LATAM, CIS & the Middle East. With 2,500+ registrations and 1,100+ active participants, EPIC 1.0 emerged as a strong platform for global collaboration in women’s cardiometabolic care. The scientific exchange extended beyond the virtual sessions through local doctor group meetings and healthcare interactions in several countries, further strengthening the impact of this initiative at the grassroots level.

Hetero signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VIETNAM PHARMACEUTICAL CORPORATION – JSC (Vinapharm) during the India–Vietnam Business Forum held in Mumbai on May 7, 2026.

The landmark signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. To Lam, the Honourable President of Vietnam, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, the Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and Ms. Dao Hong Lan, the Honourable Minister of Health, Vietnam — underscoring the growing economic and healthcare collaboration between India and Vietnam.

Representing Hetero, Mr. Kanchumarthy Venkat Ramana, Senior Vice President – International Sales & Marketing, formally signed the MoU on behalf of the company. Vinapharm was represented by Ms. Hàn Thị Khánh Vinh, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director of Vinapharm.

The MoU establishes a framework to explore strategic cooperation opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in technology transfer, investments in high-tech pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, and the commercialization of advanced pharmaceutical products in Vietnam.
