The AIG Breast Health Clinic recently hosted its first conference on the unique and often overlooked subject of Managing Mysterious Diseases, focusing on granulomatous mastitis and other benign breast diseases.

The conference was a great success, bringing together nearly 250 delegates, including a heterogeneous group of doctors- faculty and delegates from varied specialties, through in-person participation and 30 delegates via online participation.Featuring 14 insightful talks and two stimulating panel discussions, the event served as an important academic platform and a valuable learning experience for clinicians managing these complex and challenging breast conditions.

A special highlight of the conference was the unveiling of the UC Breast Foundation newsletter by .gvr and Mr PVS Raju, along with an inspiring keynote lecture delivered by Dr. Raghuram, .raghu_ram making the event both academically enriching and memorable. hyderabadbreasthealth

Happy Nurses Day to the amazing nurses who have taught me so much throughout my journey — from my general surgery days learning suturing and suture removal, to even today in the OT with countless minute details and breast-specific dressings.

You truly are the backbone of medicine, and we doctors would find it very hard to survive without you.

A day on the Breast Health Express.

At the camp conducted in the Sangareddy district, around 73 women attended — many of whom had never truly understood what breast health meant until we reached them and conducted an awareness session.

It is incredible, and also deeply concerning, to realize how many women go through life without awareness of such a basic yet vital aspect of health. We were grateful for the opportunity to teach them what breast health means, the importance of self-breast awareness, what a mammogram is, and why regular screening every 1.5–2 years can make a difference.

The UC Breast Foundation aims to reach rural communities and empower women with knowledge about self-breast examination, early detection, and the importance of prioritizing breast health.

A heartfelt thank you to my wonderful team at the Breast Health Express for their dedication and hard work. Every camp brings us one step closer to creating awareness where it is needed the most.
