🤍If you’re over 30 and trying to conceive, these are some of the often-overlooked pieces I want you to pay attention to⬇️
1️⃣Skipping meals or going too long without eating.
Your body needs consistent energy and nutrients to support reproductive function-not another round of restriction.
2️⃣Constant blood sugar highs + crashes.
What you eat, how you pair your meals, and your overall eating pattern can all influence blood sugar regulation and metabolic health.
3️⃣Not eating enough protein.
Protein is essential for building and maintaining tissues, hormones, enzymes and so much more.
Your fertility diet doesn’t need to be high-protein, it needs to be adequate.
4️⃣A nutrient-poor “healthy” diet.
You can eat salads and smoothies all day and still miss important nutrients. Variety matters.
5️⃣Living in a cycle of restriction → cravings → guilt.
Your relationship with food matters too. Constantly trying to “eat perfectly” can make nourishing yourself harder, not easier.
🫰 Fertility nutrition isn’t about cutting out carbs, sugar, gluten, dairy, or your favorite cultural foods.
It’s about nourishing your body, supporting metabolic health, and building sustainable habits BEFORE pregnancy.
Your fertility diet should support your life, not take it over.
