With my first baby, I had gone into motherhood feeling so worried about whether my body would produce enough milk. This time, even though I had initially prepared myself with pumps and bottles, thinking I might need them again, your classes completely changed the way I understand breastfeeding and my own body.

Today, I feel like I can simply walk into the hospital without carrying that fear of “Will my body produce enough milk for my baby?”

That is such a huge shift for me.

You made me understand that breastfeeding is not something I need to approach with fear, pressure or constant measurement. You gave me knowledge, perspective and, most importantly, trust in myself.

Every class left me feeling more connected to myself, more trusting of my body, and more in awe of what women are capable of.

You made me trust myself with this amazing experience. ❤️

Midwives don't just support you through labour. 🤎

They don't just rub your back, breathe with you through contractions and catch your baby. And you don't have to wait until the end of pregnancy to choose one.

In some hospitals in India, midwives are available as an alongside service, where you may meet them only once or twice during pregnancy and then again during labour.

But true midwifery care is so much more. ✨

It is full-spectrum care that begins at the start of pregnancy and continues through birth and beyond.

In many parts of Europe, midwives are the first point of care for women with low-risk pregnancies, providing antenatal care, education, birth preparation, labour support and postpartum care.

There’s a saying in the UK that captures this beautifully:

“Every woman needs a midwife. Some women will need an obstetrician too.” 🌿

Choosing a midwife doesn't mean choosing against medical care. It means having a primary care provider who knows you, your pregnancy and your preferences, while bringing in obstetric and specialist care whenever needed.
