“I see how much healthy tasty cooking is needed here in Hyderabad. I know that many people want to detox, lose weight, look and feel younger and to live more vibrantly, but many don’t know how to start or what to do. The good news is that learning what you need to know is simpler than you think! I love teaching my clients that holistic living is simpler than people think. Almost anyone can learn to eat and live well, and my mission is to help others along their journey”. To spread this love and mission, she started an initiative in the name of Vibrant Living Foods.

Pickle/ pacchadla season was one of the most anticipated times of the year growing up.

Summer meant baskets of raw mangoes arriving home, spices being carefully measured, large jars lined up in the courtyard, and grandmothers spending days preparing pickles that would feed and delight the family for months to come, if not the entire year. Aavakai was always the star, but it shared space with maagai, endu aavakai, bellam aavakai, karivepaku pacchadi, allam pacchadi, usirikaya pickle, and many other family favourites.

This reel is a small glimpse into those memories recreated at Vibrant Living.

In our latest blog, I share stories of my grandparents, the food wisdom they carried, the farming traditions that gave us such wonderful ingredients, and the deep connection between season, land, family, and food.

If the aroma of freshly mixed aavakai or the sight of a pickle jar makes you drool & takes you straight back to your childhood, I think you’ll enjoy this story.

Read the full blog through the link in bio. Also, many of these pickles are available at our shops or you can order online at www.vibrantliving.in

And tell me what was the pickle you always reached for first at your grandmother’s table?

Somewhere along the way, birthdays stopped feeling like they needed noise.

This year, I longed for a few days by the ocean, slow mornings, long walks, sunrises, sunsets, and space to simply be. Maybe growing older brings us closer to what truly matters: nature, nourishing food, meaningful conversations, rest, and people who feel like home.

Weeks later, during a casual evening with friends, I was surprised with a birthday cake from made by my own team with ingredients and flavors I genuinely love, the cake that one can eat, guilt free! That felt so good.

A reminder that there is beauty in solitude, but also in being surrounded by warmth, familiarity, and people who care for you deeply. 🤍💛

Those of you who have been following me for a while know how obsessed I am with mangoes… honestly, the number of mangoes I can eat in one sitting is pure madness. 🥭😄

So imagine my excitement when I landed in Goa during mango season and discovered Mankurad mangoes for the first time. Also called Malcorada, this famous Goan variety has its own GI Tag and is incredibly aromatic, rich, and flavorful. The markets at the end of April were overflowing with mangoes everywhere.

Now mango season is finally catching up here too, and our Vibrant Living markets this week will be filled with beautiful local varieties — Chinnarasalu, Pedarasalu, Dasheri, Himayats, Banganpalli, Mallika, Cheruku Rasam, and more.

Let’s enjoy seasonal fruits whole and wisely! What is your favourite variety of mango?

Though these children are not mine, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to cook with them, laugh with them, and plant seeds of awareness at this age. It feels deeply meaningful to me, and I thank all the parents who trust me and send their children to learn with me.

I am forever grateful for everything I learned from my own mother, from the many mothers who shaped me, from Mother Earth, and from life itself. I am also grateful for the nurturing spirit within me that keeps wanting to give, teach, and care for fellow beings.

This is what Mother’s Day feels like to me.Happy Mother’s Day to every kind of mothering energy in this world. 🤍

That crunch! So satisfying!
Once you try soaked and slow dehydrated almonds, regular almonds just don’t taste the same.
Our almond snacks are made a little differently at Vibrant Living.
Every almond is soaked, gently dehydrated at low temperatures, and then turned into crunchy, deeply satisfying snacks and bars — all made in small batches with care.

From cinnamon almonds and chocolate almonds to spicy habanero almonds and plain activated almonds — these are the kind of pantry staples you’ll keep reaching for.

Perfect for:
• Travel snacks
• Children’s snack boxes
• Midday hunger
• Baking and smoothie bowls
• Clean gifting

We also use these activated almonds in our almond banana bars, nut & seed chikkis, and wholesome bakes for that natural crunch and nourishment.

We’ve been making these for the past 13 years, and these are favourite snacks for many in Hyderabad.

Have you tried them yet? Which one is your favorite?

Freshly picked lemongrass or dried so you can use it anytime. A little crushed ginger, slow simmered, and your kitchen starts to smell warm and citrusy.

You don’t always need fresh — dried stalks or a couple of frozen cubes work just as beautifully. Just drop them into boiling water and let it steep.

Light on the stomach, easy on digestion, and something you can come back to through the day without feeling heavy.

Ginger Lemongrass tea is on our menu at Vibrant Living in all the three locations. It is easy to make at home too. Try and let me know what you think.

Watch the video on making the lemongrass cubes that I uploaded here last week.

You can buy lemongrass plants in your local nursery or ask for one when you visit Vibrant Living next time, we will be happy to share a little plant with you that can be grown into a big bush.

In Goa, bread is not something you necessarily go to a bakery and buy, it comes to your doorstep, every single day. The unique honk of a bicycle, basket full of various kinds of fresh bread, and people stepping out with familiarity, it has been done for generations and continues to.

This culture of bread in Goa goes back to Portuguese influence, when yeast leavened baking was introduced to the region. Over time, it became very local, shaped by Goan hands, Goan ingredients and for its cuisine. Today, like in the bakery we visited, you still find traditional bakers making a variety of breads like poi (whole wheat and airy), pao (soft and pillowy), undo (a more rustic loaf), and kakonn (crusty and hearty) each with its own purpose & place on the table.

Poi, the one we made here, is simple and nourishing but what’s special is the process. The wood-fired traditional oven, the timing, the skill, the confidence of people who have done this all their lives.

It reminded me how food traditions don’t just survive… they live and breathe. Most definitely one of my favourite things I did during my recent trip to Goa.

What’s a food experience you’ve enjoyed recently while travelling? I would love to hear. 🥰
