Sometimes, the smallest changes make the biggest difference.
We’ve been trying to make our packaging more sustainable, and while everything else was in place, tapes were still a challenge for us.
we hadn’t fully realised not all paper tapes are truly eco-friendly and then tried something as simple as a natural glue made from sabudana.
We gave it a shot… and it worked beautifully 💛
Stronger, affordable, and completely biodegradable.
We’ve now started using this for our packaging, and honestly, it feels so good to take one more step towards doing better for the planet.
A big thank you to for sharing this idea and helping us rethink things.
Small steps, but meaningful ones.
How we made the paste:
1)Soaked the sabudana for about 1 hour
2)Blended into a smooth paste with water
3)Cooked till the paste turned thick & translucent (ensure you add enough water to the paste before cooking)
4)Passed the glue through a sieve to remove any lumps.
5)Cooled, transferred to a container & refrigerated.
