HAPPY VICTORY DAY TO ALL!!! During Navaratri, Mother Divine is celebrated as the source of all order, affluence, integration, and the unification of all diversity. The qualities (prakritis) of Mother Divine named in the Bhagavad-Gita are enlivened. The eight prakritis are earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intellect, and ego, which all merge with Transcendental Consciousness on the ninth day. And finally, on the tenth day, Victory Day or Vijaya Dashami, Transcendental Consciousness awakens Total Knowledge.

Victory Day celebrates and enlivens the quality of invincibility around the world. Invincibility can only be secured by disallowing the birth of an enemy. The real enemy of any nation is its internal stress and the violation of Natural Law by its people. Enlivening the field of pure consciousness, which is the field of pure harmony, in human awareness prevents the birth of any enemy. This brings victory to everyone. It is the victory of peace for the individual, the nation, and the world.

"The Navaratris come two times in a year, one is in March/April and the other in September/October. These two Navaratris are major shifts in Natural Law which bring the main seasonal change. The 2nd one which is happening now is very much important because after this also comes the Dhanvantari and Divali festivals.

Navaratri strengthens all the planetary positions and everything. But Dhanvantari is also required for the health, and Hanuman the next day is for the confidence and energy boost. Then Goddess Lakshmi comes with Diwali for wealth. So along with Navaratri ~ health, wealth, and energy are also there. ALL these things are essential and very important for living the good life.

The number nine is for the nine forms of Mother Divine which correspond to the Nine Planets and their influence on everything. So we're enlivening them all with these and nothing is missed."

"Worshiping the Goddess means worshiping the Agni inside the body. When the Agni is low then Ama builds up, so ultimately low Agni is the causative factor for disease. When Agni is strong it can digest even the old Ama. That is why these things are practiced in the change of seasons when more energy is needed.

“The Six Tastes we will do in this Navaratri because it is Ugadi, the start of the New Year. From the first day of Navaratri Spring begins, and all the new things will be growing. So the new tastes we can add in our diet.

"For this we take a special drink consisting of jaggery/sugar cane juice along with some mangoes, pink salt, black pepper, neem flower for bitter and Tamarind for astringent ~ a 6 Tastes drink which we offer to Mother Divine and drink.
