DEAR MEN | Day 29 ❤️

If your mother is in her 60s, here are a few things you should know about her health.

Her health needs can change after menopause from bone loss and osteoporosis to heart health, pelvic floor changes, urinary problems and other age-related concerns.

Some changes are visible.
Many aren’t.

So don’t wait for her to complain.

Check in. Encourage regular health check-ups. Make sure she’s eating well, staying active, and getting the care she needs.

She spent years taking care of you.

Now, make her health a priority too. ❤️

💬 Sons, when was the last time you asked your mother about her health?

Something feels like it’s “coming down there”? Don’t ignore it.

Pelvic organ prolapse happens when the muscles and tissues supporting the pelvic organs become weak, allowing the bladder, uterus or re**um to bulge into the va**na.

It can happen after pregnancy and childbirth, especially as the pelvic floor undergoes stress and recovery.

Women may experience pelvic pressure, a feeling of something bulging, difficulty urinating, constipation, or discomfort during s*x.

And many women stay silent because they’re embarrassed or think it’s simply part of ageing.

It isn’t something she should have to silently live with.

Understanding her symptoms is the first step to helping her seek the right care. ❤️

DEAR MEN | Day 27 ❤️

Your mother took care of you through every phase of your life.

Now she’s going through menopause and she may need you in a different way.

As a son, you can:

• Be patient when her mood changes.
• Listen instead of dismissing her symptoms.
• Help around the house when she’s exhausted.
• Check in when she’s struggling with sleep or hot flashes.
• Encourage her to speak to a doctor when symptoms affect her daily life.

You don’t have to understand everything she’s feeling.

Just make sure she doesn’t feel alone while going through it. ❤️

💬 Sons, what’s one thing you’ll do for your mother after watching this?

DEAR MEN | Day 26 ❤️

A girl gets her first period as a teenager.
Years later, that journey eventually leads to menopause.

But menopause isn’t simply “periods stopping.”

Hormonal changes can bring hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep problems, fatigue and va**nal dryness and they can affect a woman’s everyday life.

As a son, you may not be able to understand exactly what she feels.

But you can listen, be patient, check in on her, and make her feel supported.

She took care of you through every phase of your life.
Now, be there for her through this one. ❤️

💬 Sons, what’s one thing you’ll do differently after learning about menopause?

DEAR MEN | Day 25 ❤️

“Why does Mom get irritated over every little thing?”

Before calling it a mood swing, understand perimenopause.

During perimenopause, changing hormone levels can cause mood changes, irritability, anxiety, sleep problems, hot flashes, night sweats and fatigue.

So if your mother or partner seems more irritable than usual, don’t just ask, “Why are you behaving like this?”

Ask, “Are you okay?”

Understanding what she’s going through can change how you respond.

💬 Did you know perimenopause can affect mood and sleep?

DEAR MEN | Day 24 ❤️

“Sir, we recently lost the spark in our intimacy. I feel like our marriage is falling apart.”

After childbirth, many couples experience changes in s*xual intimacy, emotional connection and married life.

Between childcare, sleep deprivation, postpartum recovery, hormonal changes and the demands of being parents, couples can slowly stop making time for each other.

But losing intimacy doesn’t automatically mean you’ve lost love.

Don’t ignore the distance. Don’t stop talking. Don’t stop being a couple.

Your baby needs parents.
Your marriage needs you too. ❤️

💬 After having children, do you think couples talk enough about intimacy and relationships?

DEAR MEN | Day 23 🚺

Every wife wants her husband to do this when she experiences urine leakage.

Listen. Don’t laugh. Don’t dismiss it. Support her. ❤️

Urinary incontinence also called urine leakage or bladder leakage can affect a woman’s confidence, daily activities, travel, exercise and intimacy.

Whether it happens while coughing, sneezing, laughing, exercising, or because of a sudden urge to urinate, it deserves attention not embarrassment.

She doesn’t need judgment. She needs understanding.

💬 Men, what would you say if your wife told you she was experiencing urine leakage?

DEAR MEN | Day 22 🚺

“90% of husbands don’t know their wives leak urine.”

Because many women never tell them.

Urinary incontinence is more common than you might think—and it’s not simply something women have to “live with.”

There are different types, including stress incontinence, urge incontinence and overflow incontinence, each with different causes and symptoms.

So if she suddenly leaks while laughing, coughing, exercising—or gets a strong urge to p*e and can’t make it to the bathroom…

Don’t dismiss it.

Understand it. Support her. And know that help is available. ❤️

💬 Men, did you know urinary incontinence has different types?

DEAR MEN | Day 21 🚺

Radhika was just trying to get home from work.
But a sudden urge to p*e turned into something she couldn’t control.

Urine leakage isn’t always “just getting old” or something women should feel embarrassed about.

Urge incontinence can cause a sudden, intense urge to urinate followed by involuntary leakage and it can affect everyday life, work, travel and confidence.

She may hide it.
She may avoid public places.
She may be too embarrassed to talk about it.

Understanding her is the first step toward supporting her. ❤️
